Andy Stanley
is the Senior Pastor of North Point
Ministries, Inc., which he founded in November 1995. North Point
Community Church, the first campus of NPMI, currently has 12,000
adults in worship and is located in Alpharetta, Georgia, a northern
suburb of Atlanta. Buckhead Church, the second campus of NPMI, began
in 2001 in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. There are currently 2,000
adults in worship.
Andy is the author of Like a Rock,
Visioneering,
Choosing to Cheat, The Next Generation Leader, and How Good Is Good
Enough?
Andy has co-authored The Seven Checkpoints, Seven
Principles Every Teenager Needs to Know, Youth Leaders Guide and
companion Student Journal (with Stuart Hall). Can We Do That? is
co-authored with Ed Young.
Andy is the co-founder of GoodStuf Student
Conferences, a ministry to high school students. Prior to starting
North Point Community Church, Andy was the Associate Pastor and
Minister to Students at First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. He
holds a BA degree in journalism from Georgia State University and a
THM from Dallas Theological Seminary. Andy lives in Alpharetta,
Georgia with his wife, Sandra, and their three children.
