  • Rick McKinley (Imago Dei):  Messages from Rick McKinley, pastor of this young, Portland, Oregon church.  Rick is author of "Jesus in the Margins" and "This Beautiful Mess: Conversations on the Kingdom."   Some readers will recognize this as the home church of Blue Like Jazz author Donald Miller.  Another favorite of twenty-somethings.
  • Mars Hill Church (Mark Driscoll): Mark Driscoll's weekly messages from Mars Hill Church, a young, emerging church in Seattle.    Mark is the author of several books and was immortalized in Blue Like Jazz as "the cussing pastor" in a previous life.  A contemporary, emergent ministry mindset built on a solid, biblical foundation.  A great choice for twentysomethings.
  • White Horse Inn: Discussions centering around theology and culture.
  • John Piper (Desiring God Radio): This daily 30 minute program features God-centered messages and commentary from pastor John Piper.  Piper is an engaging theologian and popular author who speaks frequently at Passion Conference events.   Piper's broadcasts are a mix of teaching messages from both his church and conference appearances, mixed in with studio commentary, about issues affecting the church of today and tomorrow.
  • Alistair Begg (Truth for Life): Led by gifted pastor and communicator Alistair Begg, this 30 minute program's mission is to teach the Bible with clarity and relevance so that unbelievers will be converted, believers will be established, and local churches will be strengthened.  Born and raised in Scotland, this graduate of London School of Theology pastored in Edinburgh before becoming a pastor in the states in 1983.

  • R.C. Sproul (Renewing Your Mind): The international radio broadcast of Ligonier Ministries. It is estimated that more than 2 million people listen to "Renewing Your Mind" every week in the United States alone. Truth never changes, so disregard the occasional clicking and clacking of someone writing on a chalkboard in the background.  Definitely oriented towards the academic side of the fence but worth the study from a knowledgeable, biblical theologian.
  • Perimeter Church: Messages from this theologically sound, culturally progressive congregation in Atlanta, GA.
  • Steve Brown (KeyLife): 15 minute podcast featuring the teaching of Steve Brown, a professor of communication at seminary, where he teaches students to speak without being boring.  Perhaps that's one reason the program isn't boring.  Fridays feature a Q&A session.
